Thompson-Okanagan
We are still developing our profile of this area. So far we have profiles of Kelowna and Kamloops - both areas where we have partners to help you with research trips or settling.
We have also assembled a set of links which we hope will help you research the area yourself. If you have specific questions about this area, then please e-mail me: frank@relocation2BC.com

Getting there by car has never been so easy, with a 4 hour drive from Vancouver on Highway 5 (the Coquihalla toll highway from Hope to Merritt) and Highway 97C (the Coquihalla connector from Merritt to Peachland). Highway 3 (the Hope-Princeton route) is a picturesque and slower-paced alternative to the Coquihalla route from Vancouver, an ideal choice if your first destination is at the southern end of the Okanagan Valley.
Driving from Alberta and points east, your options are even more varied: via the Trans-Canada and Coquihalla Highways through Kamloops, diverting from the Trans-Canada on Highway 97A at Sicamous, or taking the southern trans-provincial route through Crowsnest Pass on Highway 3. All routes offer beautiful scenery and lots of options for refreshing and interesting stops along the way.
The relatively new Access Okanagan site is a place for those going to, or already living in, the Okanagan to pose or answer questions on this area. It looks like it could be a valuable resource to use.
There is a site that specializes in high tech jobs in the Okanagan. It has been recommended to us as a good place to find that elusive job. http://www.okanaganhightechjobs.com/
