We have a network of realtors and relocation specialists who are here to help make your move to BC a success. And we can help you throughout your move, whether you are in the early stages of researching BC or you are about to arrive. We can even help if you are already here.

Initial research

When you are in the early stages you will be looking for information on your possible new home. Our web site and network of partners are here to help you.

We suggest that you begin by browsing and searching our web site. Make sure that you sign up for our newsletter too. That will help keep you informed of local matters in BC.

And if you have any questions then you can simply ask us. We are pleased to be able to answer your questions. This is a free service.

Research trip

Coming to BC on a research trip is the best way to find out about your potential new home. There is no substitute for seeing a neighbourhood in person.

And research trips have the advantage of allowing you to contact potential employers, and possibly even finding a job before you come. It can be done.

If you are coming to British Columbia then book our research trip service. By doing this we will:

• Help you plan your research trip
  Tell us what you want to achieve and we'll give you advice and information to make sure you make the most of your time.
• Meet you and give you a tour of the area
  This gives you a chance to see the areas, their charms (or otherwise) and tour properties. There is no better way to judge whether or not you will like living in the area.

Exclusive (free) services for our clients

When you are on your research trip we will explain our services in detail. You will be able to make up your mind whether you want us to help you with your relocation. If you do, then by signing up with us you will be able to take advantage of our exclusive and free services.

If you are not coming on a research trip, you can sign up with us after you arrive - use our research tour form. All we ask is that you book up with us in advance so that we know when you are arriving and are prepared. You are not committed to using our services until you have met us.

Property listings

As we are licensed realtors we can provide you with information on property in our areas. At the early stage of your move, we can give you sample information to give you a taste of what is available.

As you get nearer to your arrival, or once you are here, we will send you listings that focus on the kind of property that you want.

When you are actively looking to buy we can set you up with automated alerts so you see new listings as they appear.

On arrival

As a client of ours, we will

• Provide you with a welcome basket of essential groceries and goodies to get you started
• Help you find suitable short term rental property before your arrival
• Provide you with city/area information that helps you with getting all those initial tasks done
• Take you around on property tours, so you can visit suitable properties in your area
• Represent you when you buy your property, taking you through the whole buying process
• Give you local contacts you will need as a new home owner in the area

How can we offer these services free?

Our services to you are free, but this does not mean we work for nothing. As your REALTOR® we receive a commission from the seller of the property that you buy. This is the way it works in Canada - the seller pays their REALTOR® and the buyer’s REALTOR® receives a portion of that fee for introducing the buyer.

The whole real estate industry is closely governed and we are bound by legal requirements. As your representative we are bound to act in your best interests. For example we cannot reveal to the seller your circumstances since that may give them an advantage in negotiating the deal. Similarly we have to tell you anything that we know about the property or the seller’s situation, so that you are fully informed.

So you will be getting the best service and as relocation specialists we give you more than just a real estate service. You can rely on us to give you real help not just real estate.
